"Wild About Cheetahs"
was a SOLD OUT event!
CHEETAH KIDS would like to thank everyone who came out to support
cheetahs & Dr. Laurie Marker in

Tucson, AZ at the Reid Park Zoo.

We were fortunate to bring Dr. Marker to Tucson to help our community learn about wild cheetahs and the challenges they face daily in their African ecosystem.

We had a great time seeing zoo creatures, eating, bidding on silent auction items and listening to Dr. Marker speak about what she's doing in Namibia, AFRICA to help save wild cheetahs from extinction.  Her presentation included beautiful cheetah videos & photos - many of Chewbakka, her Ambassador Cheetah.

Cameron's "Save the Cheetah" Birthday Party
For Cameron’s ninth birthday party this year instead of gifts, he asked his guests to bring money to help save the wild cheetah.

All of his friends were enthusiastic about what Cameron is doing to help save the cheetahs and gladly raised $275 on the day of the party! The kids had a great time playing cheetah tail tag, running cheetah dashes and learning to play the Djembe drums.
